About these terms

These Terms of Service apply when you access the website or contact the customer-service channels operated by PT. Global Instrument Services ("we", "us", or "our"). By using these channels, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.

Our services

We provide information about calibration, measurement, instrumentation, and related products and services. Website and customer-service content is general information unless it forms part of a written quotation, order confirmation, contract, or other agreement issued by us.

Service availability, scope, schedules, pricing, and delivery terms may depend on your requirements and will be confirmed separately. If a written commercial agreement conflicts with these terms, that agreement will apply to the relevant transaction.

Customer communications

You may contact us through WhatsApp and other customer-service channels. Our WhatsApp communications use Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform, including the Cloud API, and we use a self-hosted Chatwoot installation to manage conversations.

You are responsible for providing accurate contact and request information. A message sent through a customer-service channel does not by itself create a contract, confirm an order, or guarantee that a requested service is available.

Acceptable use

When using our website or customer-service channels, you must not:

• Break applicable law or infringe another person's rights.
• Send unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, threatening, or harmful content.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to, disrupt, or damage our website, systems, or communications.
• Misrepresent your identity or provide information you are not authorized to provide.

We may restrict or stop access to our channels where reasonably necessary to protect our business, customers, systems, or legal rights.

Intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, our website content, branding, text, graphics, and other materials are owned by or licensed to PT. Global Instrument Services. You may view and use them for personal or internal business purposes related to considering or receiving our services. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or use them commercially without our prior written permission, except as permitted by law.

Third-party services and links

Our website and communications may use or link to third-party services, including WhatsApp and Meta services. Those services are operated independently and may have their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.

Website availability and information

We aim to keep our website and communication channels useful and available, but they may occasionally be interrupted, delayed, or contain errors. To the extent permitted by law, the website and its general information are provided as available, without a guarantee that access will be uninterrupted or that all content will always be complete, current, or error-free.
